So does the lower arm bring the tire in a little(ingalls). I have a rim that is barely clearing the fender with it being stock. If I put the SPC on top it will bring the rim out a little. So if I put the ingalls on the bottom I can bring the rim in a little? is this how it works?
Well I was initially thinking that would be an advantage of the Ingalls, because I also have tight clearance. Tight enough that without any camber correction, no rubbing, with camber correction, slight rubbing.
BUT ANYWAY...I was thinking about it, and really...the hub isn't going anywhere when you adjust the camber on these kits...so if you have the SPC that pushes the top out, or the Ingalls that pulls the bottom in, the hub remains pretty much fixed, so as you pull the bottom in with the Ingalls, the top will consequently push out due to pivoting on the hub. Without getting into to calclulating the lever arms with the distance of the camber kit attachment to the hub, I'm going to go with my gut...both kits will result with the top of the tire in basically the same position given a common camber setting.
