a F22b2 (non-vtec sohc) boosting 6psi dynoed 168hp on dynojet (un-tunned). Somewhere I read a F22 tuned at 7psi on stock internals claimed 180hp another claimed 195hp. The f22b2 supposively can handle 8-10psi daily driver on stock internals.
The S doesn't have an F22b, it has an F22a. I don't think he'd swap to a different SOHC motor just to turbo it. Also, why are you comparing a Honda Prelude motor to a Geo? :slap: :squint: F-series motors are very reliable, and the fact that they are slower doesn't change that. They are iron block, which means they don't have to be re-sleeved. The long gearing is an advantage for turbo too.
