Yeah i keep up with Honda Worldwide, and yes there is a recall, they try and wait it out at most Honda dealerships and tell yu kno but there is a recall. My cousin in the states has a 98 V6 sedan and he had the same problem , and it was a recall altho they tried to tell him his model and year was not covered hoping to deter him and just shell out the money for them to do it. But he and Others frum the us shop we have called HONDA motor deivision of America and asked and told of teh service at the formention Benson Honda and my cousin was prompted with a Certa number and was told to get his car taken to any available honda to get the problem taken care of. The problem also sffects late 98-00 Acura TL models in america. The problem actually is the tumblers in the key for that interact with the section leading to the locking cylinder.
