driving in a CX, i need all the power i need coming out of turns..... so i just double clutch into 1st..... it amazes my friends every time i do it. i'm hoping that my tranny will blow up soon so i can justify spending 2k on a b16a2
double clutching: ie. to double-clutch from 2nd-3rd - shift to neutral, release clutch. then rev engine in neutral, then press on clutch to shift to 3rd, right at where the revs should be when ur at that speed in 3rd gear.
when down shifting, its the same as rev matching, except u match revs in neutral, not just with the clutch held down
every gear has a synchro...
