Hrm.. dimmer wire. Never thought of that! That actually makes sense....

PS. For anyone looking for good wiring diagrams, I've found the ones on Autozone.com MUCH easier to read than the spaghetti diagrams that come in the $15 Haynes manual. I haven't dug into the Helms manual too much for this problem b/c if comes in a million different PDFs.
