I had the same problem as you with the jolting during acceleration. Are you throwing misfire codes? (71-74 I believe). I would check out the plugs and see if there is a lot of deposit on those before changing the wires. I swapped mine out and the problem went away and my mileage went up about 10%. Its cheaper than swapping out the wires. Yes, don't forget antiseize since we have an aluminum head.
