WOW i didnt know that it was bad on the transmission to shift gears like that. The gears are so short and you have to row through them so much that i just skip some, I will definitly stop skip shifting from now on.

at 7 or 8 psi on a supercharger I would think that it would be able to pull at least a high 12. i have raced three trans ams all late 90's or 2000's, one had 500 mods and i didnt know it so of course he walked me really bad, but the other two were pretty much stock with like intake and exhaust. From a punch one pulled me by like 2 cars and stay there until he let off, and with the other one we ran side by side, they run mid to low 13's stock. Of course i didnt want to run from a dead stop so they let me pick what speed i wanted to go from, but i think with the added help of a supercharger getting you off the line, it would make more of a diffrence than if you didnt need help off the line already. Whats so great about trap speed anyway, i dont really watch any type of racing other than catching the last few laps of nascar every once in a while, i dont really see the benifit of a high trap speed as long as your times are low.
Who has topped out there s2k? any idea top speed? mine is completely stock and i had mine to 142 with the top down and it wouldnt go any faster. I pulled over and put the top up and did 157 before i had to shut it down but it was still climbing. I didnt know that GTP's and pre 99 mustangs(havent raced any newer ones) were so slow i raced two with alot of mods and they were just barely keeping up
