my fan works...most of the time...if the engine has been running for a while, the fan will be on, but the gauge will still get warm...

Is the fan over the a/c condenser supposed to run to cool the engine as well? My a/c is not currently hooked up, if that makes a difference...

seems kind of odd that the fan that runs to cool the engine would only blow on the tranny...
