I swear some of these end users are so stupid. I recently upgraded all of their systems to the latest Dell with a P4 2.8GHz and 1GB Memory but they still complain since they have 17" CRT's for monitors.

Them: "Oh...you aren't replacing the computer...but just the modem."




Now anytime a CRT dies, they automatically assume they are getting a flat panel. (this scenario happened this morning)

Me: I can get you another monitor, but it will have to wait till the afternoon since I'll have to go to another site and pull one from the warehouse. I don't have any on hand.

Her: Oh, you're just going to get me another big ugly monitor?

Me: Yup. That's all we have. Sorry.
