and i know my oil pan leaks a little bit, next oil change im going to seal that off also...but the oil drips from other places when i looked under the chassis...also y dont u recommend the use of 5w30 oil? read that somewhere...it says that in the engine bay to use that oil lol but with high mileage i just use 10w30...
5w30 will do a flow better in freezing temps, but if you don't live in the snowbelt, 10w30 is fine. As always, check your owner's manual.
And before you go crazy with a caulking gun, I'd take the time to fix a leaky gaskets and seals by replacing them, not slathering silicone sealant on them.
