didn't understand 1/3-1/2 of this post, but i'm gonna try and reply for you anyway.
first, he's not trying to be sarcastic, how you value your money and your mods is totally different from the next guy.
second, i don't see how your first post is asking how many more miles to expect out of your car.
that being said, it seems that the only problem with the life of your car will be the AT. some AT's run low 100k, some run up past 250k miles. depends on how you keep it and how you drive it, and maybe a little luck.
as for tv's, doesn't really matter what car you put em into, you'll have a tv and dvd player and they'll look and function the same. i don't see this as much of an issue as how much you enjoy driving the car and how much you enjoy its looks/power/handling/etc.
and as for me, i'm considering extending the life of my '92 (AT, 126k) to drive it for another 5 yrs or so.
