Well from what I THINK... a 225 is a lil too wide.. I suggest a 205 or a 215 at the biggest... Because i Have a 215/35/R18 and i still have about a inch of wheel gap stock suspension, and my tires have a decent chance of tucking udner the fender. I mena I could be wrong, sum1 else may kno better but i feel with a 225 it may have a smaller chance of clearing the fender as much as a 215 or a 205 wud. I suggest you go witha 215/45/R17.

But as far as for now it will fit no problem and you will have a 1.5 - 2 inch wheel well gap. So you shoudlnt have to worry bout rubbing, until the dropping comes into place.
