i'd rather be able to bang the block around & not worry about gettin powder coat in the cylinders somehow or in any of the holes.. coz i don't feel like taping everything off, it would take hours.. i'm just gonna have it re-surfaced & stuff. The guy at the machine shop said he'd take it easy on the abuse that the block would see in the shop if it was coated.
well, that's a good point. keeping powder out of the engine could be a pain in the ass. you juss gotta post pics when it's done!
