Don't take my word for it. Have you got a mechanic you trust? Ask them what they think about aftermarket parts.

FWIW I did have the distributor replaced in my 92 last year. The reason? A cheap aftermarket distributor cap and coil. They were not to spec and wiped out the factory origional distributor. My mechanic, a Honda/Acura specialist whom I have been working with for 10 years said he gets alot of business from DIYers who install cheap parts on these cars.
