LOL , I understand shocker, that you want to get your money out of this car. I have been working on and selling cars for years and I know that you can't get back what you put in. But if you feel your price is good then i say keep on and try to get what you want. In my own opinion, a car with no reverse should be sold as salvage since most ppl cannot afford to repair a trans. Your "Shops" price of $300-$400 is very unreasonable and will barely cover the labor to R&R the transmission let alone dismantle it and replace parts that are broken. My advice is either sell it cheap or fix it and then sell it.

Import, go easy on shocker man!! He is no more trying to rip someone off as you, if you have ever sold a car... Buying and selling cars is always a risky business and remember, he was the buyer before he was the seller... Understand?
Good luck on the sale Shocker, Everyone have fun and chill out!!
