first of all, what engine have i got in my il4 6th gen coupe, and second of all, if im going to do an engine swap, what is a decent price to pay for a low milage engine, and is it worth it to do a full on transmition change to 5spd?

p.s. is there anyone here thats turbo'd a stock 6th gen il4, of course with the added bolt-ons needed, and would it really kill my transmition?
you can do a few thing, you can swap in an H23 or H22, you can run nitrious, you can turbo your F23 engine, or you can try to go the NA route and upgrade the internals, get a reground cam, port and polish, etc.(I'd recommend an internal upgrade if you turbo your current engine) reguardless of what you do you should do an auto to manual tranny swap if you plan on keeping the accord. I know of a few guys running turbo 6th gen accords with auto trannys. they are running about 6lbs of boost on stock internals. notoriouB and turbowa(you can find them either on honduh.com or honda-tech) are running turbos with fully built internals. you could hit either of those guys up if you have any questions about going the turbo route. if you were to go the NA route I know of one guy, as_fast_as_u. he's running the gude head package with the greddy e-manage system and he's throwing down pretty decent numbers for an NA 6th gen accord. for the money he spent he could have gone the turbo route and be faster, but his car is more reliable being NA. its up to you which way you want to go. personally I wouldn't turbo my accord, reliability is a major issue.

I believe doing any of those options would require you to run premium gas, but I'm not sure if you have to with the Gude package. you'd have to ask as_fast_as_u about that.
