Nope, but my understanding is that unless you're a hardcore audiophile, or do sound-editing/recording, it's overkill. The current Audigy series is more than capable for games & listening to music.

Plus, I just bought an Audigy 2ZS gamer edition for $21 (price mistake - but they honored it), so I'm biased.
