Default Timing belt

Guys please help me

I have an acura integra 1995. I bought this from my friend. There was no problem with the car. As per acura recommendation , i went to change my timing belt at 90,000 mile. The place where i took the car is a good car mechanic shop. The charged me 400$ to change the timing belt and for oil change( they said there is a need to change the oil when the timing belt is replaced). When i started the car ,it started to shake ,lots of jitter , i have to press the accelerator so hard to make the car move. When i switched on the AC
the car started to shake. I went to the mechanic shop again they said they have to replace the spark plugs and wire(cost 162$). I want to know whether there is any chance of breaking the spark plugs when they removed the timing belt.I dont know anything about cars.

Please help me with this and what should i do, what is the exact problem with the car.
Thanks
