That is not the only thing she has done. She has used the memory of her dead son to further her current political agenda, despite the fact that she knows he re-enlisted and clearly felt he was doing what was right.

Normal parents want to protect their children. This is one of the strongest instincts that animals have. People even try to protect and preserve their children's memory after they are dead, check out the memorials in the obituaries in todays paper if you have any doubt.

She is a hypocrite because she had the opportunity to meet the President of the United States face to face(If anyone on this board has met with a sitting President, or even knows someone personally who has, chime right in), she expressed apreciation at the time, and did not confront Mr. Bush because she KNEW that her son would not approve of her doing this, and undermine what Casey died for. She is a piece of shit, because she disregarded what she KNEW her son would want, and dishonored his memory by dragging his name through the shit she is all too happy to wade through.

You are exactly correct in saying she has the right to free speech. I personally would be willing to kill for her to have the rights that Mr. Jefferson so eloquently stated. (I would be willing to die for it too, but would rather kill than be killed, the government needs my ass working and paying taxes to finance free lunches for illegal immigrants.) Just because she has the right to free speech, does not make it right for her to demean the memory of her son.
