fuel pump fuse problem...
ok. me and a friend have a 90 crx that we use just for racing. it isn't pretty but it does the job. it has a sleeved 94 GSR block with forged internals/ a 95 GSR head(stock)/ LS tranny/ DRAG T3/T4 turbo kit/ full 3" DP back/ walbro 255/ and its gutted. there the background here the problem...
before we put the MBC on it ran just fine it had plenty of fuel, and there were no problems whatsoever. now that we turned the boost up just a couple pounds and put some good tires on it it pops the fuel pump fuse...the 10 amp fuse under the steering column. we put a bigger fuse in it...same thing! tried the 10/15/25/30 and they all popped. so unless it is a wire that is loose or cut it be that the walbro is just drawing to much power? i don't think it would be a bad wire or something like that cause like i said it only happened when we turned the boost up just a couple pounds so obviously it is needing more fuel.
any ideas?
PS the injectors are 440's just an FYI.
