Yes it is the ABS. I also wondered that same thing and took it into the dealership a few years back and the mechanic said that that was the ABS doin its "calibration" or something. As long as it doesnt consistently make that noise while your driving. Everytime I start my car and put it in drive it makes that noise but then never again until I shut it off and repeat.
