Well as you know I drive through it a lot, but spending time there was something new...the people were a lot nicer than I expected. I didn't get any negative reactions even as far north as Ottawa even though I was plainly American. Canadians are generally polite and like you as long as you are the same. We just get pissed at Americans such as Bill O'Reily who paint us (unfairly) as dirty red pinko commies.
