check engine light
DA-
With most 92-95 Civics including the del sol, there is a small 2pin connector located just behind your glove box on the passenger side of the car. This connector is used to read trouble codes through your OBD1 system ( on board diagnostics ) If you have the mechanical ability I would invest in a haynes or chiltons shop manual that you can find at any local autozone or checker parts store. They are about $15 and well worth it. The manuals will show you step by step how to read trouble codes. It can be anything from an 02 sensor malfucntion to brake systems. All you have to do is use a paper clip or jumper wire to bridge the 2pin connector, your check engine light will flash a sequence and it will correspond to a sequence in the shop manual. Let me know how it goes, othewise you can always go into the dealer and bend over and pay the $80 to have your codes read.
