Im been doing a lot of research on the honda motors. I was also thinking of a motor swap such as a b18c1 or h22a into my 95 civic ex, but for the cost of one of those motors you can build a much better turbo d16. First of all in a motor swap your looking at some where between 175-200 crank hp and 125-145 tq. Where as in a stock d16 with turbo you can get 175-200 whp and 175-200 wtq when tuned right. The torque is whats going to move the car through the rpm range faster to get you to your max hp. Built d16z6 motors like 1995 civic said can push 400whp. See
www.turbod16.com if you dont believe me.
I would have to agree to go turbo instead of swap. I am.
