i beat the crap outa my car & have yet to blow up a piston.. i'll keep tryin tho!
as far as your engine dies out.. i'd have to say u should be throwing a code for this.. i doubt the IACV would do this coz when it goes it normally just idles up & down but doesn't stall on ya. So i would have to say check for good compression & spark on each cylinder & make sure your throttle is adjusted properly. If your timing is off really far i guess this could cause it as well but the thing is, we don't have enough info here to pin point the problem. Go ahead & check for codes & see what ya get.
