Well coming from the title side, Mortgage brokers and loan officers aren't exactly all peaches and cream either
But I've heard just about every angle. I'm working in the title department right now, but my mom is a branch manager and an escrow officer, and my step dad is on the opposite end as a loan officer, so every angle has their complaints. You complain that title takes forever, but title and escrow complain that they've got so much on their plate, yet every MB and LO forces THEIR file down their throats and has no regard for escrow's 500 other files that they've got simultaneously going on.
And giving you my contact info would be pointless...I'm a lowly recorder and am only doing this for the summer until I go back to school. You'd want to speak to a title officer or escrow officer anyway.
