Take it to the ref. Make sure that all the USDM smog equipment, fuel control, and electronics are hooked up correctly and function correctly. Make sure your CEL isn't on. Make sure you are using the correct OBD2 ECU...no obd1 stuff. If the motor is in good shape, and your cat is in good shape, you shouldn't have a problem passing the sniff test. But the ref will inspect everything to make sure the swap was done properly. Make sure the install is clean, and don't have wires running all over the place uncovered. Make sure that any aftermarket parts you have are CARB exempt, and you have the correct application.
