It runs fine with the p06 plugged up. When I plugged up the p28, the check engine light came on, come to find out it was the cel code 21 vtec spool solenoid valve. I drove for about 20 minutes, prob about 10-15 miles, and when I came to park, I noticed my heat meter was on the H. So I have no clue why the ecu would cause my car to overheat.
I have a P28 and i did a D16Z6 swap into my 92 LX. I never experienced the problems u are having. I am going to put my money on that being a bad ECU.
