What we do is wash it first with Greased Lightning + Soap & Water, then wet sand it with 1000 grit, then go over that with a red ScotchBrite pad. That's worked so far, but I didn't know if there were other ways that worked just as well?
yeah, we do something similar. i clean em w/ comet, believe it or not. then wax/grease remover. i usually don't even use sand paper. red scotchbrites work well on there own. much better for those tiny ass holes, in shapes. we don't have any trouble w/ it. but paint h8s plastic, and rocks always tend to knock it off eventually.
