When they're working, they work well and need little maintenance. But oh, when you gotta work on them... :down: (especially if you don't have the right tools)

I am rebuilding an old Ford pickup to make hardware store runs, etc. It had been sitting for 10 yrs. and the rear drums were rusted to the shoes. The truck wouldn't even roll. We had first pulled it out where we could work on it with a FWD Bronco and it literally dragged the truck. That didn't even help in breaking anything loose. We had to pry and hammer to get one of the drums off.
