If there's no check engine light and the engine runs fine and you get proper MPG, maybe there isn't a problem at all.
For reference: In the F23 (the 4 banger in the 98-02 Accord), the #1 cylinder ignition wire goes in the bottom left plug in the distributor and 2-3-4 go counterclockwise to it. I bet all Honda 4 cylinders with distributors are the same.
