You shouldn't dump the clutch, you should let it out semi-quick until the wheels start clawing the ground and then take it up the rest of the way. You'll have less chance of wheel hop. Although if you're starting from 7000 RPM, you'll peel out a lot.

I'd say 4,000 RPM is fine.
