I would say that you need to get used to how it shifts, but you said that it seems to be getting worse. :dunno:

I remember when I first got mine, it freaked me a little at first because of how I had to be more deliberate at engaging the gears. I came from driving an old Civic that almost fell into gear when I threw the shifts.
