Christ, you guys run an insane amount of pressure.

:noes: 40psi is way too high.

Above 35 psi, ride quality is horrible.
Tire wear is concentrated on the center of the tire.
The contact patch is reduced, and a savage pothole can ruin your day.

The Owner's Manual recommends 29 psi front/rear if I remember correctly.
On stock tires, I would stay within 5 psi of their recommendation.

Since my suspension setup is already pretty firm, I run 30 front, 28 rear.
On interstate treks, I go up to 32/30 and soften up the shocks a bit.
This is on 205/45/16s, however.
