The 3rd generation Honda Accord isn't exactly a chick magnet. If stubby rubber antennas are so disgusting, why do quite a bit of new cars (the ones that don't build the antennas into the rear window) have "stubbies"? Are you telling me that if you bought an S2000, a new beetle, or a Mini, you'll rip the antenna right off just to install a much less "disgusing" motorized metal wire antenna?

Hey, do whatever you want with your money. If spending $50 bucks to have dated technology on your 15 year old car floats your boat, I'm sure you can go all out and find a JDM one on eBay.
