I've had a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Generally, keeping the stock shocks and adding springs (neuspeed on my 90 teg, H&R on my 02 RSX S) caused a firmer ride and a bounce with I hit dips or bumps at speed. More like a boing, sharp up and down...not a wavy drunken movement, sometimes a metal to metal sound. Never went away on either. I don't think they were installed properly. Get instructions if possible from the mfg.

I am doing some research this time. I have Tein H type springs and KYB GR-2s to install on my 00 Coupe. Both come with instructions.
With 76,000 miles I figure since I am there I might as well replace all the connection components...I went to my Honda dealer and had them pull the exploded parts diagram for front and rear shocks. It shows where everything is, including pillow mounts, bumpstops, rubber, collars, nuts...everything. I am going to Tirerack to get some aftermarket KYB things, and the dealer for the rest.
We shall see....
