Thanks for the input. It sucks that i have to order a distributor and bum rides until it gets here. I guess there aren't any distributors (nearby) that will work on an early JDM b16. I thought I got lucky with an integra one intil I looked at the mounting legs. How stupid is that?
By the way, i did try a new cap/rotor, like I said. Waste of $25. Now it looks exactly like my original.
JC, I agree that mechanical grinding should have little to do with electrical, but in this case i find it very odd that my distributor crapped out about 10 minutes after my elec system shorted.
