The local pick & pull junkyard near me sells motorized antennas for $19. I was going to go that route to repair my 92 Accord until I found that you can get a little rubber non-motorized universtal antenna mast for just $7-11 from Kragen.
Personally, I like the little stubby rubber mast better (less for someone to break off). If the reception is just as good and I think the mast looks more attractive, why bother going to the junkyard or spending $50 to get a motorized one anyway?
