I know that Honda's masts are more expensive, The parts manager at my dealer got me an aftermarket one that was suppose to me made by the same company that makes the Honda mast. It works fine and everything but is NOT the same quality. The mast has started to have a slight bent in it from the air hitting it for the last 8 months. The side of it has turned a dark color I guess from the grease or whatever. It would be fine for anyone not concerned about little differences but I'm VERY picky about my cars and I don't like it. I only saved 20-25 bucks but now if I want the factory one it's another 40-45 bucks plus I'm out the original cost so It costs more in the long run....
