Hey everyone, I'm new to this site. The reason I am here is because just a moment ago I found myself in a unexpected situation pertaining to my car. Decided to head over to the local Mom & Pop Shop for some grub, but on my return home my car began to rev up and down as if I had my foot on the gas then off again. If that makes any sense. Anyway, once after that happened my car began to overheat so I then turned off my engine and waited for it to cool down abit before proceeding home. I believe that this could maybe be caused from an over due oil change or small leak. However, I am clueless when it comes to mechanical expertise , therefore seek out any other suggestions that could possibly explain more as to my situation and solutions in correcting the problem. Any advice, suggestions, blah, blah, blah.... etc. would be greatly appreciated.
