i had also read on crutchfield to double up on mdf where i'm going to mount the sub. that a good idea? I also need to find a place to mount my amp. As you all probably know about honda's etc, theres a little niche in my trunk thats about 32"s wide and my current box won't fit in there, so i thought i would build a new one. however, thats where i've put my amp so essentially, i'm losing the place for my amp. someone suggested putting it on the back of my seat, but the drawback there is that i've got a big amp and the seat back isn't big enough, due to the little hatch compartment going into my main seating area. so thats my problem.

another question is how do i hook up some nice neon lighting inside my box to make it pulse to the music without using the cigarette lighter?
would i cut off the lighter attachment and have it tap into the terminal?
