boosting the b16a2 or the b18
OK, ill try this in this forumn i guess.
OK, im selling my gsr for multiple reasons. Bottom line though is that if i get a new car i would like it to be able to keep up decently with my stock gsr right now.
My 2 options were getting another integra, a LS and boosting it. Problems with this are i already owned a integra and wanting something new. Integra very small car for taller people also, and no rear seat room at all. I found a few integras that fit my need (97+ under 70k) but they are about $6500-7000+ and dont want to really spend that much.
My other option i was thinkning is getting a 97+ civic EX, i already found 2 under $5000 with about 60k on them. I like the looks of the civic, a little more room and a ton cheaper on insurance and parts. With this i would instantly buy a b16a2 and do the swap. With some parts (I/H/E) it should run close to my gsr right? Im going to test drive a 00 si tomorrow to see what thay motor compares to my gsr now.
My last question is, alot of people say that cause the high compression its a little harder to boost a gsr because high compression leaves little room for error. Is that the same with the b16a2?
