to be exact the belt didnt break it was just stretched, at least one valve was knocking. also maybe bad tensioner. when i turn it around a number of times it seems to jump on and off timing. has compression, but i dont have a tester. i know this because i tryed to push start it in 2nd gear plenty of compression pretty sure timing is dead on except for tensioner possibility. the starter problem is i believe from shorting the starter while the ignition was in the on position. new battery , disconnected starter still has a severe drain somewhere when the key is on(interior and dash lights cut out)
