If he was stationary and not visible for at least 500 feet, then you can fight the ticket with that. Here, a police or sherriff has to be visible for at least 500 feet when using a stationary speed detection device. A state patrol can do whatever they want(hide behind trees or whatever). Also, here, you have to be going at least 10 over to get a ticket if it's not a school or work zone. If you want to fight it, you just have to read up on your local laws and figure from there.
