Actually, I got in a "fight" not too long ago. Not this past weekend but the one before that.

After the bars, me and some buddies were going to play a game of poker. We were walking along and came upon some random people who were about to start a fight. I just wanted to give em a wide berth and not get involved.

My buddy Nick though, I guess he knew one of the kids who was tryin to get in the fight, and proceeded to put the guy in a full nelson so as not to get in the fight. He thought the kid was chilled out enough, and then let him go.

At this point the kid went berserk. Big surprise. Just running around tryin to punch anyone and everyone he can lay his eyes on. Nick started to try and run up to him and calm him down. I had to hold Nick back because I really didn't want to get into any fights. There was a poker game to be played.

So I was standing there holding Nick back, and this kid just started running up on me. I was standing there trying to hold back Nick and at the same time I'm yellin at the kid, "you don't know me man, just chill, back off," stuff like that. I still had my arms out holdin back Nick, and I saw the kid running at me like he's in slow motion. I dunno what I did, maybe leaned into the punch or something, but he clocked me right in my cheek bone and I just stood there and took it.

I looked this kid straight in the eye and calmly told him, "Okay fawker, you just hit me with everything you got and I'm standin right here in front of you. I don't wanna fight you but if you wanna go then let's have at it." The damn kid just ran away.

Finally after all that, Nick and I arrived at the house to play poker. Everyone else had been there a long time ago. Someone asked me where the hell we went to. I just said, "oh I was just busy getting punched in the face."
