Wow...that completely sucks dude. I feel for you.

What type of alarm (brand, model, features, etc) did you have?

My clifford has a motion sensor for the interior. Two things happen if you break the threshhold.

1. Car alarm sounds
2. Ignition kill switch activates
3. Interior mini ccd starts snapping digital pics of the interior and send them to my cell.
