You're not buying a chip... you can buy the chip from moates (the uberdata kit)... like I said, there is no proprietary equipment. If you want to see how good it is, do some searching and talk to some users/dealers. Hop onto
www.evans-tuning.com forum to see some more good info. I am a NepTune dealer, and I also tune Hondata... so from experience with both, I'll say that it walks all over hondata in features and price.
The fact is, 99% of people who want the ability to tune their own cars usually don't have any business doing so. No offense to the average user, but a novice engine tuner working on a full standalone is usually disasterous. There's more to tuning than just getting air/fuel ratios right and keeping timing below the knock threshold.
Stay tuned, in the short future there will be some serious ground-breaking developments for NepTune.... and currrent users will
definitely not be left behind.
Not only for knock threshold, but for exhaust gas temperatures and proper fuel octane.
I know how to tune , you dont have to tell me what I need to know, unless you are a AEM or Hondata Rep, those guys know their stuff
