I'm supposed to work tonight from 5-9:30, but usually this shift gets cut. I'm home right now, so I call work to see if it will get cut so I can just stay here for a few more hours. I talk to my asst. manager, she says to call kris, my friend, and see if she needs the help tonight. They want to cut my shift, but some managers don't like to close alone, including her. I called her cell at 11, knowing she wouldn't pick up (never does), leave the story and tell her to call me back by noon. Its 12:15, and if I work tonight I need to leave by 12:30-1. She gets in to work at 1, but she's usually late. I think I'm screwed.

Now my stomach is hurting for no reason, and I'm cranky.
