Do the conversion. I also have a 91 teg and a guy at auto zone told me to do the conversion from a r-12 to a r-134. He told me something about replacing the collecter and some other a/c components and the rough cost was about 200 bucks just for the parts but I would have to take it to a shop and have it professionally installed.
