Sometimes you just have to take it to a certified Honda mechanic and suck it up (the cost). I have a Honda dealer here that has two of them, one is real good at finding things. He was so good I had him work on my RSX Type S exclusively, including all the mods I put on it. The service center will write you up and do a diagnosis on your car and tell you exactly what it wrong. It might cost you $75-100 dollars but you will know and you can get it fixed (either make your tranny guy or brake guy fix it or have the Honda shop fix it). If you can find a certified Honda mechanic or ASE mechanic that isn't at the dealer that might work too. The dealer, unfortunately, is the best place to go. Good luck.
